The growth path · Stage 1

Before you scale, find out if the business can carry it.

Commercial Readiness is a fixed-scope, paid assessment that tests whether a business can support profitable growth before it spends on the growth. We check four things, close the gaps that matter, and tell you the right next step.

The four gates

  • Economic. Can the business profitably fund the promised growth? Pricing, cost-to-serve, cash timing, and funding.
  • Operational. Can it repeatedly deliver what will be sold? People, capacity, systems, quality, and support.
  • Market. Is the offering relevant, clear, and credible to the buyer? The proposition and evidence hold up to diligence.
  • Channel. Can it pursue and serve this buyer through this route? Account requirements, acquisition process, terms, handoff, and launch ownership.

What you get

An evidence-based readiness decision on each gate, and a prioritized plan for the gaps, scoped so you know exactly what to fix and what it costs. A clear go, fix-first, or not-yet, with the evidence behind it.

Why it matters

Readiness is specific. A business ready for one channel is not automatically ready for a national launch. The assessment tells you where you actually are, so the next move starts in the right place instead of discovering the gaps mid-launch.

Where it leads

Commercial Readiness is the front door: close the gaps in a scoped Growth & Channel Build, run the approved offer in Revenue Execution, and move to Embedded Operations when it is time.

Where we work

Commercial Readiness runs most often inside three industries: privately held brands in outdoor recreation, where the test is the channel and the landed cost; manufacturers and brands in off-road and overland, where it is dealer and installer coverage and margin under current costs; and privately held businesses in steel, metals and recycling, where it is pricing policy and price exposure.
