The growth path · Stage 4
When the founder is still the operating system.
Ongoing operating leadership across the systems and work that sit between growth plans and reliable execution. Rothwell takes the operating cadence and the KPIs, owns the day-to-day across the chain, and keeps the business running as it scales.
When this is the right fit
- The founder is still the operating system.
- DTC, marketplace, inventory, warehouse, dealer, and reporting work exists, but no one owns the whole chain.
- Growth is creating margin, working-capital, service-level, or fulfillment problems.
- A post-transaction business needs operating discipline without building a full executive bench yet.
What Rothwell owns
- Operating cadence and KPI ownership.
- Inventory and demand planning.
- Warehouse, 3PL coordination, fulfillment, and returns.
- Dealer and retail operations and channel hygiene.
- DTC and marketplace operating coordination.
- Reporting, margin visibility, issue escalation, and a documented handoff.
What this is not
Rothwell coordinates 3PLs and does not take title to inventory. It improves the warehouse and fulfillment team rather than replacing it, unless a scope says otherwise.
Where we work
Embedded Operations runs inside outdoor recreation brands, where the chain is dealers, marketplaces, inventory and fulfillment, and inside steel, metals and recycling businesses, where it is price exposure, inventory discipline and systems.
